Canford Boarding School, Wimborne, UK

Wessex Services Group delivered the complete mechanical ventilation package for this prestigious new 56-bed boarding house at Canford School. The project involved the installation of multiple heat-recovery ventilation units to provide an efficient MVHR system serving all floors. All ductwork was manufactured in-house to meet the building’s specific design requirements, ensuring a high-performance, bespoke solution throughout.

Arne House, Arne, UK

Arne House is a distinguished 1880s country manor overlooking Poole Harbour and Brownsea Island. Working alongside main contractor Urban Homes, Wessex Services Group carried out a comprehensive mechanical upgrade as part of the property’s extensive renovation. The existing oil-fired heating system was fully removed and replaced with multiple high-efficiency air source heat pumps to modernise the estate’s energy performance.

An additional oak-framed outbuilding was constructed to accommodate a luxury swimming pool complex, also heated via air source heat pumps. Wessex Services Group provided the full pool ventilation system, ensuring stable ambient conditions and consistently controlled water temperatures throughout the pool hall.

Pact Coffee, London, UK

Pact Coffee operates a busy commercial roasting facility located close to residential properties and had received complaints about coffee aromas and smoke escaping into the surrounding area. Wessex Services Group was brought in to design and install an effective filtration solution. The roasting extraction system was routed through multiple electrostatic precipitators to significantly reduce odours and airborne particulates, bringing emissions to an acceptable level. All associated ductwork was manufactured in-house, ensuring a fully bespoke system tailored to the site’s operational needs.

NHS - Royal Bournemouth Hospital

Wessex Services Group is an approved mechanical services supplier to the NHS, supporting Royal Bournemouth Hospital with ongoing installation and maintenance works. Our routine responsibilities include fan replacements, smoke damper replacements, and general ventilation and extraction upgrades. We provide reliable, compliant, and responsive mechanical support to ensure critical hospital environments remain safe and fully operational.

Costa Coffee, Poole, UK

Wessex Services Group delivered the complete mechanical installation for the new Costa Coffee drive-through, including the full supply and extraction air system. This time-critical project was completed on schedule and within budget, ensuring Costa achieved its planned opening date without compromise to quality or performance.

BCP - Luckham Road, UK

This new-build development for BCP Council comprises three houses and six flats constructed to full Pasivhaus standards, with a strong emphasis on build quality and ultra-low air loss. Wessex Services Group was contracted to supply and install the MVHR systems within each dwelling, ensuring stale air is efficiently extracted, heat is recovered, and fresh air is delivered throughout. The result is a highly efficient, healthy, and comfortable living environment for all residents.

BCP - Wilkinson Drive, Bournemouth, UK

This new-build development for BCP Council comprises nine flats and two houses constructed to modern, energy-efficient standards. Wessex Services Group supplied and installed the MVHR systems throughout the apartments, delivering effective heat-recovery ventilation across the development. Vent-Axia Kinetic MVHR units were used to provide reliable, high-performance fresh air and heat recovery for every dwelling.

Pearce Avenue, Poole, UK

Wessex Services Group designed and installed a bespoke heat recovery ventilation system for this luxury property in Poole. To accommodate the tight ceiling voids, WSG manufactured slimline rectangular ductwork in-house, ensuring a precise fit without compromising performance. A large external louvre was also custom-made, powder-coated, and installed to match the building’s façade, delivering both functionality and a seamless architectural finish.
